Shane Hamill joined Landmark Europe in 2010 from the European Commission's DG Environment, where he worked on sustainable production and consumption. Previously he worked with NGOs and civil society organisations in Ireland and Zambia before interning at the United Nations in New York, working in the Division for Sustainable Development on integrating civil society in the processes of international policy making. He also worked at the UN Global Compact, disseminating best practices of multinational corporations committed to aligning their strategies and operations with human rights, labour and environmental principles. An Irish national, Shane is an International Relations graduate.
