Cristina Freitas da Costa joined Landmark Europe in 2011. She has previously practiced as a lawyer with the EU and Competition Law Practice Group of a leading Portuguese law firm, in Lisbon. There she advised clients in a wide range of European and competition law cases in several fields such as energy, air transport and the food industry. Cristina has also worked as Teaching Assistant in the European Legal Studies Department of the College of Europe in Bruges. In that position, she carried out research activities, supporting the work of Professors and students in several EU law courses, particularly in the fields of competition law and the rules of the internal market. A graduate in law from the University of Lisbon, she also holds an LLM in European Law from the College of Europe (Bruges). A Portuguese national, Cristina is also fluent in English, French and Spanish, with a good knowledge of Italian.
